NO LONGER ON THE SAME PAGE..?

Being friends with a girl is no big deal. But sometimes, girls are a little more complicated to handle than guys. For example, you guy friend will not fight when your call goes on waiting. But your female friend will probably argue with you for an hour. Girls are like glass. Very fragile. Very sensitive. But sometimes, when they are a little too much of everything..that is when you really need to run and never look back.

#1 WHEN SHE IS OVER PROTECTIVE - When your lady friend is protective, it feels nice. But when she is over protective it feel like your pestering relative on Face Book is better.

#2 TOO MUCH INTERFERENCE - Sharing your personal stuff with her is fine. But when she pesters you to tell her about your BOYS NIGHT OUT plans..you know where to draw your line.

#3 HOLE IN YOUR POCKET ? Not only girls but, there are guys who keep their female friends close for their ATM cards. Never allow that. When you think something like that is happening, ask her to back off!

#4 TOO DEPENDENT - When you feel she is becoming too needy or dependent, time has come to unleash your friendship.

#5 DRAMA QUEEN - There are a lot of girls who think they can get things done their way by just dramatizing the whole issue. No. All they will get is maybe another tryout for the next audition. NEVER TRUST Drama Queens. After all they are just here to audition.

Some people have female friends to boost their ego. Some do it to boost their self esteem. Some simply do it to brag. But there are a few who actually who actually give in their heart and soul into the relationship to make it work but when it doesn't, it's OK.
Blaming on yourself or on the other person will not help. Deal with it the right way.
Sometimes it is not meant to be. Just let go. There are more fish in the sea!

TO KEEP IT GOING ON THE RIGHT TRACK - 

There are a few things you need to understand and by heart if necessary -

#1 DON'T EXPECT THEM TO KEEP SECRETS - Girls gossip. Period. They don't do that because they are jobless. They do that because they enjoy it. And even if she is your close friend, do not tell her your secrets under the impression that she would actually keep it safe. SHE WILL ALWAYS TELL HER BEST FRIEND FIRST. And who knows? You might end up listening to your own secret..from the person sitting next to you!

#2 SHE EXPECTS YOU TO USE SMILEYS AND SAY "AWWWW" - Using smileys or saying 'Awwww' doesn't make you look goofy. It is completely normal and human to use smileys and react that way.

#3 REMEMBER HER BIRTHDAY - ALWAYS remember her birthday or other important dates. If you cannot remember them, use a reminder. But never tell her that you're using a reminder.

#4 DON'T EXPECT HER TO LISTEN TO YOU -  You don't own her. Girls do not feel comfortable around guys who dominate/restrict/tell them what to do or what not to do. You can always make suggestions or give advice.

#5 TELL HER EVERYTHING - Even if you have a diarrhea, it is mandatory to tell her. Girls love tiny details! Well, not exactly diarrhea. But still.

#6 LITTLE IS MORE -  Little things mean a lot to girls. Especially stuff like, chocolates or rings.

#7 SURPRISE!! - Girls love surprises! Be it anything..they will always cherish them. Just surprise them! (But, do not scare them away!)

#8 ALWAYS KEEP THE SPOTLIGHT ON HER - When she is around, make her feel important. You don't have to shower all your love or give her all your attention. But don't be preoccupied when she is around. Girls love attention.

#9 SHE IS NO LAUGHING STOCK - Never tease her concerning her hair/ weight/ height/ voice/ language before her friends or your friends or family. Girls are highly sensitive and will be very hurt if you cross your limits.

#10 NEVER CHANGE/ ASK HER TO CHANGE - When you are friends with a girl, there will be a time when you need to draw a line. (Maybe stop being friends with her too). Not because she is a girl. Simply because you both live life on different principles. Never change or ask her to change. Doing that will only raise unnecessary conflicts.

 GIRL - I am sick. (Ask her what happened? Help her with her Home work)
BOY - TC (No one word answers.)

 GIRL - Hey what's up? What are you doing? What are you doing this weekend? (She wants you to ask her the same in return..because she has the most exciting stuff coming up!!)
BOY - Nothing much. (Don't just blow her away with crispy answers)

 GIRL - How much is the bill? Do you have enough cash? (Be a gentleman and pay up)
BOY - Nope. You pay. (That's the last time she is ever going out with you)

 GIRL - I love this month of the year! (Because it her birthday..tell her that it's your favorite month too!)
BOY - Err..Why? Are they giving free burgers at McD? (You forgot the most important date. Not good. Apologize before you smell smoke)

 GIRL - It is your mistake. Not mine. Remember what you did on April, 15th..5 years back?? (Ooops, just say sorry!)
BOY - Huh? What did I do? (Uh-Oh! You just stepped into enemy lines. It's better you apologize and avoid dragging things from the past)
While you think fighting with her is winning..it is not. It's wearing her down. In fact, let her win. Girls love it when they win.

It really is difficult dealing with women but you should know that they breathe fire because they've got fire!

Now, to the important stuff. 

DE-CODING YOUR FEMALE FRIEND OR GIRLFRIEND
Girls are never straight forward to guys and if they are, you're just one in a million..(Keep her close!). But its natural for girls to say something and mean an entirely different thing. And for you to actually understand, comprehend and act the way she wanted you to..is a hell of a job! And to do your job right, keep reading!

DE-CODE THE RIGHT WAY OR FACE THE FUMES -

#1 GIRL - I am having such a bad day! (She wants you to sympathize/empathize her)
BOY - Oh. (Don't say that unless you have your running shoes with you)
What would be the right thing to say?
BOY - Really? I'm sorry. What is bothering you? Is it your crazy fish faced classmate? (To be on the safer side, always be enemies with her enemies) And always agree with her!

#2 GIRL - I look hideous! (She expects you to actually tell her how great she looks)
BOY - Ha ha! HI-5! It's OK.
Don't be surprised if she HI-5's you on your face! It will be better if you say this..
BOY- Of course you don't! You look great. In fact, let's take a picture together to prove how beautiful you look!

#3 GIRL - Hey! I am so excited! You know what happened today? Blah..blah..blah..
BOY - Hmmmm hmm mm Oh hmmm hmm...
Congrats! You will be blocked or deleted from her contacts in 10 seconds. 10..9..8..
Even if the conversation is boring, act like you're enjoying it. She could probably tell her story to somebody else. But she chose you. Respect her choice.

#4 GIRL - I will not be able to text you/ talk to you the whole day. (She wants you to ask her the reason..or feel sad that she will not be able to talk to you!)
BOY - Oh, OK.
She might probably not talk to you the rest of her life.
When she tells you the above, try reacting in a better way. Ask her why or if it's possible for her to at least text you in the mean time.

#5 GIRL - I don't think I can make it today. (Beg her to come!!!!)
BOY - K.
The whole week, if she's going to reply in one word, 'S' She is mad at you.
Girls like it when you ask a lot of questions and let them talk. But they like it even more when you send them long texts or give them long replies. It makes them feel important. Never reply with a letter.

It is OK when you don't understand something your friend tells you. Ask her politely if that is what she meant. Do not misinterpret. NEVER ASSUME.

3. DO NOT ditch her. If you do, NEVER call her back to justify. (Unless you want a slap or a 5 hour lecture + hanging up on you)

The most important rule is to make sure you TREAT HER RIGHT. Every person expects you to treat them right.
